Kristina Markos, M.L.S. is an Associate Professor of Practice and Communications Internship Director at Simmons University. She has a background working in public relations, advertising, branding and digital communications for over 15 years and has ran internship programs and mentoring programs internally at creative agencies where she's worked. She's passionate about motivating and preparing the next generation for the workforce, giving them practical skills and tough love when it's needed. Her prior experience in education includes working at Indiana University Northwest, Lasell University and as a career coach at Bentley University.

She is a board member, at the PR Club in New England and mom of 3 young sons and an elderly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
